Dani Fortuny is a director and screenwriter from Barcelona. An outstanding translator of lives into images, he brings a refined visual narrative that moves effortlessly between realism and cinematic fiction. The combination of emotion, storytelling, and a distinctly contemporary photographic style has been his hallmark since graduating from ESCAC.

Dani has worked in Mexico, Ukraine, France, Spain, and the USA, where he directed one of his most important pieces, “L.A. Dreamers”, selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick and published by National Geographic.
His piece “NoW”, created for Dream Magazine, was published on Nowness and also selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick.
He recently won Gold in the Film category at El Ojo de Iberoamérica festival for the campaign created for 9GAG, in collaboration with the agency LolaMullenLowe.
He has worked for brands such as Seat, IKEA, Toyota, Moritz, Adidas, Brugal, and Pullmantur, among others.
He balances his work in fiction with advertising, driven above all by his passion for storytelling. He recently premiered his short film “A Noa”, titled after his daughter, a fiction piece that explores the impact of pregnancy on a first-time mother. The film has accumulated more than 50 selections at festivals around the world.
